When I became a Sports Editor in 2004, I began using a camera to capture images at the local sports events I was covering.

As my photos improved, I became more interested in photography and began shooting other events for my freelance writing work, including concert reviews, art gallery exhibits and candid shots for my articles.

I also enjoy taking photos of the outdoors, and living in Vermont (also a stone's throw from New Hampshire) allows me plenty of beautiful scenery to shoot. I often like to simply go for a drive down some scenic back road and see what kind of imagery it may create.
